Yields 6 servings
3 cups white cabbage, shredded
3 cups red cabbage, shredded
2 large celery sticks, sliced thin
2 carrots, shredded
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup white vinegar
1 tbsp avocado oil
2 tsp salt
1. Prepare the fresh ingredients for the salad: Shred the cabbage and carrots Slice the celery into thin pieces Mince the fresh garlic cloves
2. Add all of the fresh ingredients into a large bowl. Add salt to the salad and massage the cabbage to soften the texture.
3. Add the oil, vinegar and black pepper to the large bowl. Mix all of the ingredients well using a spoon.
4. Let the salad sit aside for 15-20 minutes prior to serving.
Helpful Tip: Use a meat slicer machine for shredding the cabbage.
